Small Animal
We understand how important it is to have emergency care for your beloved pets. Here at LVC we are a part of a rotating small animal emergency on call schedule. Every month dedicated and qualified Veterinarians in the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley sign up to be on call after hours from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Saturday 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. We know these situations are stressful, rest assured whether it’s with us or one of our trusted colleagues, you and your pet will be well taken care of. In the case of an emergency you can call our number and you will be routed to the clinic on call for that night. Whether you are an established client or dedicated to another clinic we are happy to take care of your pet in their time of need. Afterwards, we are happy to transfer any medical records to your regular veterinarian. If an emergency requires more specialized care we may refer your pet to Washington State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Pullman. This decision will ensure your pet receives specialized emergency care in a timely fashion. There is also an Emergency Veterinary Hospital in Coeur d’Alene, along with Pet Emergency Clinic in Spokane, Washington.
Large Animal
We know large animal emergencies happen at all hours of the night, which is why we have a large animal veterinarian on call for your needs. With very few large animal clinics in the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley we understand it’s important to have that option. In case of an emergency you can call our clinic number and you will be transferred to the large animal veterinarian on call.
