Spaying and neutering are essential procedures for preventing unwanted pregnancies and promoting long-term pet health. While spaying and neutering are elective procedures, we recommend that all pet owners strongly consider them to reduce the risks of reproductive cancers and undesirable hormone-driven behaviors. Here you can spay or neuter your pet as early as 6 months old. Some specific breeds can have an impact on the timing of spaying and neutering. If you have questions on your specific breed, please give us a call.

Orthopedic Surgery

Our very own Dr. Hoch is proud to offer specialized orthopedic procedures to reduce pain and restore function in pets with orthopedic injuries or diseases. Some of the surgeries we offer include:

Cranial cruciate ligament repair (lateral suture)

Lateral Suture CCL Repair

Lateral suture CCL repair is an orthopedic procedure used to treat cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) injuries in dogs and restore normal knee function. Our experienced surgical team has extensive knowledge performing CCL repairs and ensuring optimal post-operative recovery. CCL repair is a good choice for dogs of any size or activity level. Although, certain working dogs, trial dogs, and performance dogs may benefit from another CCL repair called the TPLO (performed elsewhere). The lateral suture CCL repair is less than half the price of a TPLO surgery in our area.

K-Laser Therapy

K-Laser therapy offered at LVC uses a low level of infrared light to reduce pain, inflammation and edema, promote wound healing, deep tissue and nerve healing, and to prevent further tissue damage at the cellular level. This therapy is painless, non-invasive, non-toxic, and easily done. This therapy benefits pets undergoing surgeries, chronic or acute pain, broken bones, arthritis, and more.
